ASICS GEL-CHALLENGER 10 Women’s Tennis Shoes
The ASICS GEL-CHALLENGER 10 Women’s Tennis Shoes provide exceptional comfort with rearfoot and forefoot Gel cushioning systems. Outstanding stability is achieved via the lateral propulsion Trusstic technology while the excellent upper fit is addressed with a P.H.F fit system in the collar.
Synthetic And Mesh Upper
The upper of the Gel-Challenger 10 Women’s Tennis Shoes is constructed of synthetic and mesh. The mesh allows air to fully permeate the upper providing a constant supply of fresh and cool air. In addition, the mesh sucks in the air whilst at the same time pushes out hot, muggy air that accumulates throughout exercise. Synthetic overlays wrap around the upper to provide a nice, locked-in fit as well as enhancing durability and structure.
A technology called PGuard features on the toe box area of the shoes to provide extreme durability where you need it most. Lastly, a P.H.F (Personal Heel Fit) system featuring within the collar lining and provides 2 layers of memory foam that moulds to the wearer’s heel, creating a personalised and comfortable fit.
The midsole unit is comprised of Solyte technology. Solye is a lighter weight midsole compound than Asics standard EVA and SpEVA midsoles. Solyte also features enhanced cushioning and durability. The midsole unit works to absorb the shock and impact forces that occur during the heel strike phase of the gait cycle. The midsole unit then absorbs the energy created, then transfers it to the forefoot where the harnessed energy is used to push the wearer off into their next step.
Additionally, the use of rearfoot and forefoot gel attenuates shock during impact and toe-off phases. The Gel allows movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle.
Featured between the midsole and outsole is Asics’ very own Trusstic System that reduces the weight of the sole unit while retaining the structural integrity of the shoes. AHAR is an acronym for Asics High Abrasion Rubber. Placed in critical areas of the outsole that are prone to wear, the AHAR provides exceptional durability, allowing you to turn to these tennis shoes time and time again.
